I know, WTF, you just wrote a journal, like, less than a week ago BUT... this is important. So, I started watching the BBC show Dr. Who, which you probably have heard of if you're alive and have a heart beat. Anyway, I started watching it during season 5 with the eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and I. Love. Him. I mean, he's just so- ENGAGING! Something about him is so charismatic and quirky and him and Amy should get together. OMG please. Although it would never work with the whole changing of Doctors and regeneration. What-have-you, but... maybe just a little action *SPOILER ALERT?* (that kiss doesn't count pplz, srsly)? THEY'REJUSTTOOCUTEOMGROFLAoiwnvoiwne!!! Sorry Rory. You're adorable too and *SPOILER ALERT?* (you sort of I'm not sure if you actually have due to a hunch) I cried when you "died", but... No comparison to the Doctor. Sorreh. So, just had to gush of my new found love thanks to my frands Nate-y Poo and Sarah Bear who gently nudged *cough* STRESSFULLY PRESSURED *cough* me into watching it. But, in reality, it's a great show, although I've only seen about 11 episodes, and I can't wait to see more, and yes, draw some of that Doctor/Amy fanart! WHOOP!
Until next time!

PS: M'kay, so today at band camp (no, this is not the beginning of a bad joke) we were setting drill and this weird scent kept floating through the air- like burning sugar or something. All of a sudden, Mr. Wylie -our band director- yelled "FIRE, FIRE!!!" and the assistant director sprinted over to the sousas (the marching band equivalent to tubas) and stamped out a towel that had combusted. Apparently, a sousa had been focusing the sun light on a towel so intently, it had caught fire, making it give off a smell of burning sugar that we had been able to detect for a few minutes. It's just sort of ridiculous. What are the chances?!

Alright, so, last week on Thursday in the middle of Dalek Week (if you don't know what Dalek Week is, it's based out of Scott Westerfeld's alternate historical steampunk universe and if you don't know what that is, you should look it up because it's fabulous) I *conveniently* had to get my wisdom teeth out since any other time would have been super inconvenient. Sooo, that was a blast, but we finished off Dalek Week! WOOHOO! So that's done, but... what's next? However exciting that couple is, it's tiring to draw the same characters over and over again for more than a week, so I'd say drawing them is out of the question, BUT I went to Barnes and Noble after Dalek Week ended and got some really amazing books. After being in a real drawing funk for the past couple of months, I realized how much I'd missed reading, which I found out in a very sad and abrupt way. I was at the optomotrist (however you spell it :I), waiting, which was taking a really long time, so I picked up a National Geographic. I started reading an article about bears at random and GOT INTO IT. I mean, I was fully immersed, head down, eyes squinting, hands sweaty into the article about a white-black bear in British Columbia. And that's when I realized. This had gone on for too long. I needed some reading time. So, we ventured to the bookstore and I picked out this book called the Map of Time -not sure who the author is- which started out incredibly depressing, but has a really interesting concept and has H.G. FREAKING WELLS AS A CHARACTER. I mean, how much more can you ask for? So maybe once I've had some proper reading time, we'll have some new characters to draw! I know this was long, so until next time! Adieu!
